About Me

Education

I graduated from Missouri State University in Fall 2019. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Ever since I was young, I have enjoyed dabbling with computers and experimenting with different applications. Because my own lifetime has essentially coincided with the rise of the modern computing industry, I feel that there are still tremendous developments to come in this field. It was natural for me to choose Information Technology as my university major. I chose IT rather than Computer Science because I wanted to learn both the software and hardware sides of IT. I also wanted to be able to take business courses.

Experience

I have worked for American National Insurance Company as an IT Intern and then as a Service Desk Triage Specialist. It gave me a lot of exposure towards the current technologies used and the industrial standards. Working at JB Hunt as a Software Engineer helped me learn the whole SDLC process. Currently, I am working at MSU as the User Support person for COE. Helping people troubleshoot IT issues gives me immense satisfaction. I also have supervisory experience here leading and assisting a team of wonderful Computer lab assistants. Having the same lab assistant experience, I was able to resonate better with them.
